Good News Garden

Ken Coker & Stacy Rowlett

Central’s Good News Garden is part of a church-wide movement of congregations, schools, colleges, seminaries, monasteries, camps and conference centers involved in a variety of food and creation care ministries – including gardening, farming, beekeeping, composting, and other agricultural actions.
Here at Central our gardens produce fresh vegetables that are distributed to our food pantry neighbors. The gardens also produce flowers that are beneficial to bees and other pollinators. All gardening is done organically with respect and care for God’s creation.
By and through this ministry Central is caring for and nurturing God’s creation and feeding God’s hungry children.
