Ministries Outside the Walls
Have you noticed the signs downtown saying “Adopt-A-Street” and listing an organization? Did you know that Central Presbyterian Church has adopted the Entertainment District (signs to be provided once the street work is completed). Members of our church meet a minimum of 4 times per year equipped with grabbers, bags, and buckets and pick up litter in the downtown area. We don our Central Presbyterian Church shirts as we go out into the streets to show our love for God and our neighbors by taking care of God’s creation. Want to help? Our next cleanup will be in September. If mobility issues or scheduling conflicts prevents your participation,
please pray for our team’s safety, and pray that we live our mission statement of “Loving God, Serving Others, Sharing Faith.”
